We do take payments to help ease the burden of the costs for production. For a project to officially begin, we’ll need the contract we send you signed and we’ll need a 50% deposit. Once filming is complete, you’ll pay 25% of the original agreement, and then once the final edits are delivered you’ll pay the remaining amount.

The standard pricing on this page includes filming at our studio in Orion Township, Michigan (about 45 mins north of Detroit off of I-75). Traveling to your destination whether it’s Chicago, LA, New York, or New Zealand (we definitely would prefer New Zealand!), will require some additional costs that can be quoted when you’re closer to moving forward. A rough estimate might be $2500-$5000 extra per day for travel outside of the studio. 

We recommend that you come ready to shoot which means you have gone over your notes, outlines, and any scripts you’ve created multiple times to ensure that when it’s time to start recording, you’re very familiar with the content. Some people choose to use a teleprompter to stay on script - but this is a very personal decision based on your experience teaching and the style that you want to represent in your masterclass. 

Slides can easily be inserted during the editing process of your videos. If you’d prefer to have a tv or monitor alongside you during your presentation, we can add that as part of the set design. Keep in mind the size of any text in your slides because if the screen is being filmed alongside you, it can get hard to read. We also have a whiteboard you can use if you’d prefer something like that.

You can totally use notes to reference in between takes. You don’t want to have them in your hands or close enough to read while filming because the notes will become a distraction. The teleprompter can be a great support in place of notes in case you want key points to reference - or entire thoughts or scripts. Also, remember that we’ll be able to edit around mistakes and retakes so we can choose the best take for the final video.

After filming, the editing process begins. You’ll eventually receive the first draft of the videos through an online application we use where you’ll watch through the videos and you’ll be able to make comments at certain places that you have feedback on. Once your feedback is complete, we’ll begin editing the next round. Once you see and approve the next round of edits, we’ll deliver the finals that will be ready for the world to watch. The entire editing process can be completed within 4-6 weeks as long as we get feedback on time.

After we’ve delivered all of the finalized videos to you, we’ll then upload all the additional footage and upload to the cloud where you can access, save as a backup in the cloud or on a hard drive and use however you like. Sometimes there are little snippets you might like to create as social content to tease your masterclass or there might be funny outtakes that you want to create for social. Regardless, you’ll have access to the footage to do with whatever you’d like.

For an additional cost, we can create thumbnails for your videos. If this is something you know you’d like us to handle, the sooner you let us know, the quicker we can get these built and approved by you’re not waiting for them to be created when every other part of your masterclass is ready to launch.
